On June 3, 1755, forty-three "Dissenters from the Church of England and Professors of the Doctrines of the Church of Scotland" petitioned King George II for a building lot in Savannah.
For over 250 years Independent Presbyterian Church has been a faithful gospel witness to Savannah and the world. We are thankful for our history and remain committed to historic Christian faith and practice as we look to the future.
